DAWN’s analysis, advocacy and activism are carried out by an Executive Committee and its governance is shared by the Board and the Executive Committee. The Secretariat carries out the decisions taken by the Board and the Executive Committee.
The Board provides oversight and ensures accountability in accordance with the Statutes, Regulations, decisions of the Board and/or Executive Committee, DAWN’s commitments, and applicable national law.
The current DAWN Board members are:

The Executive Committee is the executive body of DAWN and is responsible, along with the Board, for setting the policies and directions of DAWN. Its members are individually and collectively accountable to the Board for the performance of their responsibilities in a satisfactory and timely manner and in accordance with the Statutes, Regulations, appropriate decisions of the Board and/or Executive Committee, DAWN’s commitments, and applicable national law.

In addition to the Board and Executive Committee, DAWN has a Secretariat that supports research, activism/advocacy, networking, training and communications. The Secretariat is based in Suva, Fiji.
